Kennedy Town Docks 1-3 (f. Frankie Ho) This concerns more personal observations and musings on the reality of living in high-rise apartments as opposed to the rural village life I enjoyed as a child. A row of facades of high-rise buildings, recently shipped down from China, sit on the dockside at Kennedy Town awaiting removal & assembly into a new high-rise apartments somewhere within HK. Little is now manufactured in HK; even the homes we live in are built on the mainland and assembled here. The series senses the loneliness and desperation of living in small-congested spaces. HK may be one of the most populous places in the world, but such apartments seem at odds with nurturing a sense of community.
